Toronto, March 31, 2009 — The Certified General Accountants Association of Canada (CGA Canada) and its provincial and territorial partners today launched a Canada-wide, multimedia advertising campaign emphasizing the skills and experience that Certified General Accountants bring to their employers and clients.
“As this campaign so skillfully captures, CGAs are astute accounting professionals. They see the numbers and what those numbers mean in terms of efficiency, productivity and managing risk,” said Barbara Cameron, CGA‐Canada’s vice‐president, public affairs. “Certified General Accountants see the big picture, providing the valuable insight and leadership required to make key financial and business decisions.”The creative approach used throughout the campaign includes semi-transparent numbers overlaying images of today’s business environment — reminding the viewer of the importance of both the numbers and what they truly mean. The television execution features real people expressing their views on issues that matter today.
The bold execution is a vital expression of the new brand line for Canada’s Certified General Accountants: “We see more than numbers”.
“The fact is, CGAs are forward‐thinking professionals who can improve the efficiency, productivity and sustainability of any organization,” added Cameron.
Harvey Carroll, President of Grip Limited of Toronto, which conceived the multi‐faceted campaign, said the powerful messaging and vibrant execution are bound to resonate in this climate of economic uncertainty.
“There’s no doubt that business today needs highly qualified, broadly experienced accounting professionals like Certified General Accountants who have strength, credibility and vision,” Carroll said.
