Blue Veil Ministry & Sara Elizabeth Centre is looking for the volunteer services of a professional Accountant.

Carmen Jacques, CGA, is looking for volunteers to attend the networking events for IEPs in the Greater Toronto Area. This is your opportunity to promote your designation and share your valuable and unique experience with newcomers who are eager to hear about professional opportunities and the success stories of CGAs like you.

Blue Veil is a registered non-profit, non-denominational, community based organization that has been integrating youth and adults with developmental and/or physical challenges with their “able” peers since March 2006. Our head office is located in Etobicoke.

Blue Veil provides a number of youth programs that serve as an educational forum for students to understand the importance of staying in school but more importantly to interact with each other. We also run special programs out of Sara Elizabeth Centre for special needs youth. Our charity relies solely on program fees, in-kind donations and volunteer services. Our goal is to continue raising funds and awareness through our musical performances, fundraising events and through the selling of our original CDs. We also seek funding from foundations, corporations, private donors and government funding.  Having an accountant would greatly assist us in preparing the financial statements requested by the various government agencies.

If you are interested in volunteering your services please contact: Ms. Cris Smith, executive director, Blue Veil Ministry, at 416-747-9796 or by email at csmith8555@rogers.com.
