At Career Connect, CGAs and students will be able to gather information on companies, learn more about career paths and future and current positions, and develop employer contacts to enhance your job search.

Career Connect is an opportunity for experienced CGAs and students in the CGA program with a minimum of five years experience to network, meet high profile companies and be pre-qualified for future positions. Regardless of whether you are looking for employment, trying to figure out the right career path or just interested in seeing what else is out there, Career Connect has plenty to offer.

Career Connect allows CGA Ontario to introduce employers who have job opportunities or who are interested in pre-qualifying candidates for future potential roles to a pool of highly-skilled and educated accounting professionals. This event will showcase CGAs and students in the CGA program of professional studies with a minimum of three years experience.

So be sure to attend Career Connect to gather insight into the industry, learn about employers' hiring practices and development programs, and impress potential employers with your skills and abilities.

In preparation for the event, attendees are encouraged to bring plenty of business cards and a couple of copies of their resume to the event. However the resume should only be offered at an employer’s request. Attendees should also dress in business appropriate attire.

When:	March 8, 2012. Employers – 4 p.m. (set up); CGAs and Students – 5:30 p.m. General Public Registration – 6 – 6:30 p.m. Registration for Career Connect closes at 6:30 p.m. No late entries. Event ends at 8 p.m. NOTE: All general public attendees are required to attend a presentation about the CGA designation from 6:30 – 7 p.m. before being admitted access into the event.
