PA1/PA2 Seminars

CGA Ontario provides a series of PA1/PA2 seminars to help students prepare for the PA1/PA2 examinations. The seminars are available as in-class and/or online formats for the sessions when PA1/PA2 courses are offered.

The seminars emphasize an integrative case study approach using previously learned concepts from within the program of professional studies and the workplace. The case study problem-solving and decision-making process will be facilitated by a group of CGAs. In addition to building integrative skills, the seminar is designed to build camaraderie, increase collaborative learning, and build networking contacts within a professional setting.

Students who enrol in either the online or in-class seminars learn:

  • How to analyze a case.
  • How to demonstrate your competencies.
  • Strategies for answering multiple choice questions.

Students who enrol in either the online or in-class seminars receive:

  • In-depth case analysis with a dedicated facilitator.
  • Access to top CGA Ontario facilitators.
  • Confidence in knowing the requirements of the capstone exams.
  • Opportunity to discuss examination strategies with student colleagues.

Details about the seminars will be emailed to students immediately before the online registration is open. Concurrently, an announcement about the seminars will be posted in the online learning environment (OLE) as a constant reminder. It is your responsibility to ensure the email address in your file stays current and valid.

Confirmations of seminar enrolment will be automatically emailed to students once the online registration is completed.
